High pressure furnace(Patent) | DOE Patents
Abstract. A high temperature high pressure furnace has a hybrid partially externally heated construction. A metallic vessel fabricated from an alloy having a composition of at least 45% nickel, 15% chrome, and 10% tungsten is utilized (the preferred alloy including 55% nickel, 22% chrome, 14% tungsten, 2% molybdenum, 3% iron (maximum) and 5% cobalt (maximum).
Central heating - Wikipedia
2019-11-16 · Overview. Central heating differs from space heating in that the heat generation occurs in one place, such as a furnace room or basement in a house or a mechanical room in a large building (though not necessarily at the geometrically "central" point). The heat is distributed throughout the building, typically by forced-air through ductwork, by water circulating through pipes, or by steam fed
How do I adjust the gas pressure on my natural gas …
Hi Rod! I would not be concerned with the gas pressure unless you are having trouble with the furnace igniting properly or if the furnace sounds like a jet engine (too much gas pressure) while running. Too much gas pressure would make the furnace go off on limit and this would not be good. Your furnace should run without going off on limit.

A Guide to Propane Furnaces - Smart Touch Energy
2019-12-7 · Propane delivery lines run from an outdoor regulator and shut-off through a low-pressure metal piping or tubing system and supply gas to the burner or heat exchanger that sits at the core of the furnace unit. Ignition is controlled by a remote thermostat, and the burner fires for as long as an increase of heat is required by the thermostat setting.
